चतुरसुजान बच्चे मिट्टी से भरे हुए सूखे चावल देकर एक का पदमगुणा भाग्य बना लेते हैं। सिर्फ चावल देते और रिटर्न में सर्व शक्तियां, सर्व खजाने, 36 प्रकार से भी ज्यादा वैरायटी ले लेते। परन्तु कई बच्चे वह भी देने के समय सुदामा के मिसल कच्छ (बगल) में छिपाकर रखते हैं। बाप खींचकर ले सकते हैं लेकिन खींचकर लिया तो उसका रिटर्न इतना नहीं मिलेगा इसलिए स्वइच्छा और दृढ़ संकल्प से एक देकर पदम लेना – यही चतुराई है। इस देने में ही कल्याण है।
